Best App for all skipper and professionell captains. Intelligent functions and great design. A must have.

Having recently retired with plans to live aboard and travel extensively on a boat we just purchased, I am overjoyed at having discovered this app! As new boat owners, we often find the task of learning and retaining so much marine knowledge to be daunting. This app seems to have it all, it is a reference guide, a dictionary, a text book and is full of wonderful interactive information/knowledge. There are software programs and utilities on the market that cost hundreds of dollars and still cant hold a candle to this application. Thank you for bringing the best of the nautical world to Apple, all in a very easy and smoothly designed interface! I was considering hiring a Captain for my boat, but now I dont have to.

Powerful and easy to use. Unit conversions, GPS, glossary of symbols. It even has Morse code. An invaluable tool for novice and experienced sailors. I wish that something like this existed 10 years ago when I was learning to sail.

Overall, Captains Toolbox is a great marine reference application for when you are out on the water. It gives you the radio procedures, colregs, sound signals, etc. However, this application would be even better if it had better quality, and was optimized for the iPhone 5 & 5s. Cheers!

Does not work on iOS 8 and above please fix

This is a great repository of every nautical tool youll need. Very well organized and presented.

This app is a great one stop toolset useful on the bridge, not to mention a good quick study when off duty. The update is more clean looking and easy to use.

I am a boat captain and this is one of my favorite apps. Its easy to get to the things you are looking for. No more searching through pages and pages of info to find what you need. Its all right here in the handy little app. Its my favorite app on my iphone.

An excellent app for real time boating. Quick access is great for all sections with the exception of the glossary, which could benefit from a search or alphabetic selection.

What a powerhouse App! Its like having 12 Apps in one. This is a must have for professional yacht Captains. This has something for everyone. Whether you are running the ICW on a 60 trawler or running a 60 meter Feadship in the Med, this App has something for you.

Please update to make compatible with iOS6. Crashes randomly when trying to access certain features.

Does not work with recent update please fix as it was a very good program before update still waiting for fix 12-17-14
